Share Your Story With Us!

We all have a story to tell and I believe yours can make a positive difference in the lives of others. Like me, some are still in the early stages of the autism journey while others of you have a wealth of knowledge and experience. Either way, your words will be a blessing to others. Quite frankly, I think all of us could use encouragement no matter where we are on the journey. You absolutely matter and your story matters. I’d be honored if you’d contribute to the site by sharing it with us!

What To Share

Whatever you’d like! This is about you and your experience and I want you to feel free to share it however you’d like. But if you need some ideas to get you started, here are some:

-What has God been teaching you through your autism journey about yourself and about Him.

-Encouraging advice for parents new to their child’s diagnosis

-Gratitude for others who have helped support you along your journey

-The day-to-day good, bad, and ugly.

-Humorous stories…we all love a good laugh and I know you probably have some crazy ones.

How To Share Your Story

-Aim for 1000 words or less, but if it’s more, no problem.

-Provide a title for your story, something catchy!

-Include a photo (JPEG or PNG file) – perhaps a family picture or something that represents your story well. If you prefer to not provide a photo, no problem…I will find something that fits your story.

-Feel free to share what you’re comfortable with. If you do not want to provide specific names or other demographic information, that is perfectly fine.

-Email your story and photo to john@autism4christ.org. I can’t wait to hear what you have to share!

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
